Prayer Helper respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our services.
Information Collection
We collect your mobile phone number when you request to receive a prayer by text message. We may also collect information you provide when using our prayer generation service, though this information is processed temporarily and not stored.
Use of Information
Your mobile number will only be used to send you the requested prayer by text message. No additional or recurring messages will be sent. Any other information provided is used solely to generate personalized prayers for you.
Information Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. We do not sell or rent your mobile information. Separately, if you accept analytics and ads on the website, limited browsing data may be processed by Google and Vercel as described below.
Analytics and Advertising
If you choose Accept on our site banner, we may load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights. These tools help us understand traffic and support keeping Prayer Helper free. They may set cookies or similar technologies and receive technical information such as IP address, device/browser details, and pages viewed.
Prayer text and form answers you enter to generate a prayer are used to create your prayer and are not sold as a marketing list. Functional preferences stored on your device (for example denomination or video settings) are not advertising trackers.
Analytics and ad scripts do not load until you Accept. If you opt out, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we do not load those scripts.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under California law. Use the site banner, or the footer link labeled “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” to opt out. We also treat an enabled Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.
To change your choice later, use the footer link again. Opting out turns off Google Analytics, AdSense, and Vercel analytics on this site for your browser until you Accept.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Message Frequency
You will receive only one message per opt-in request. No additional messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and are not controlled by Prayer Helper.
SMS Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to the message. For help, reply HELP to the message or contact us at contact@prayerhelper.faith.
Third-Party Services
Our website, SMS services, and hotline services may use third-party service providers (including OpenAI for prayer and speech features, and Google or Vercel when you accept analytics/ads). These providers have their own privacy policies and data handling practices.
Prayer Video Generation
If you choose to generate a prayer video, the prayer text is processed to create narration and a downloadable media file. In our current version, videos are generated for direct user download and are not publicly hosted by default. Please avoid including sensitive personal details if you do not want them included in exported media. Processing happens in your browser; we do not upload your prayer video to our servers for rendering.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
